We are travlers passing through when we decided to stop in and have breakfast at the Knotty Pine Restaurant. Oh boy! That was an excellent decision. I ordered biscuits and gravy with a side of eggs. My wife had one egg with hasbrowns, toast, and a pork chop. Everything was cooked to perfection. Michelle, our server, took our order and served us with a warm smile and a, "Can I get you anything else?" It was fun hanging with the locals this morning in this delightful little town.
Foods great. Lots of variety with a flexible menu. ( Easily make substitutions with a variety of side dishes to choose from). Family friendly restaurant. The atmosphere and Energy is fun, friendly, and comfortable. If you want to just relax, have a little fun, and aren't really hungry, the Knotty Pine bar and CASINO are always fun of course!! Has a full service bar with dining also available( with seating that's kept separate from the restaurant dining area), pool tables, juke box, and on select nights....karaoke! But whether I visit the restaurant or I visit the bar, it doesn't matter when I go there, day or night, my favorite and most enjoyable part of each visit is hands down.... THE STAFF!!! GREAT BUNCH OF PEOPLE AND I LOVE ALL OF THEM!!!! GO GET KNOTTY!!!!
Pretty good place all around. Wait staff are nice and accommodating. If you don't like cigarette smoke, be mindful that there is a casino attached. As a guy working nights I appreciate being able to order lunch and dinner items on the menu during breakfast hours.
I really loved this place! So much that I'll make a point to come this way again just to come here. Our waitress was amazing, and the food was really good and reasonable in price. It was like a home cooked dinner. One of the reason why I'm giving full five stars is because the mountain dew was amazing. I noticed that many places that their fountain soda tastes bad because they're trying to squeeze too many drinks out of the same syrup box and diluting the flavor but this place, no, premium mountain dew. Also the view outside, just everything it was a relaxing place to go and have a meal and I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone.
We have eaten here twice while visiting the state parks in the area. The service was friendly and quick. Everything my husband and I ordered was good, the fries were excellent (the fries were the reason we returned the 2nd time we were in the area!) It’s classic diner food with very reasonable prices.
We ordered the taco and chef salad to go while on our road trip. The chef salad came with raspberry vinaigrette and was surprisingly a good pairing. The salads were fresh and filling.
My family really enjoyed eating at Knotty Pine. Service was prompt, food was good (the clam chowder was EXCELLENT) and our server was the sweetest thing ever. I’d definitely eat there again if I’m in town.
